Dating a woman with schizophrenia

She hasn't had this condition very long, and even just speed dating questions in spanish the diagnosis can be harsh not even considering if her "break" was dramatic or not, which would only make it harder so she's still in the settling in process most likely. You should go to therapy with him and open up there.
For a start, there is the casual prejudice of terms such as 'psycho' and 'mental' being bandied around when cracking dating jokes with friends.
I'm not completely humourless about it, but it does confirm there still are, and probably always will be, ingrained prejudices about those, such as me, with mental health issues. Since my diagnosis, I've had two long-term relationships, one for three years, and one after that for nine months.
You would not start off by saying "Hi, I'm _____ and I have hypertension, would you like to go on a date? The questions I would ask would be are you in a good place? Be the person someone you want to date would want to date.

It seems to me that there would be an enormous potential for things to go terribly wrong.
